Second Step: Elementary SEL Curriculum
Second Step is our adopted Social Emotional Learning curriculum for elementary schools in the Lake Stevens School District. It is intended to be a resource to classroom teachers to build social-emotional skills with their students, primarily through the Morning Meeting structure, although teachers could also choose to teach a Second Step lesson outside of Morning Meetings. This module will provide you access to an overview training from Second Step to get you started!
